Important Jail Policies and Procedures:

Video visitation is available at the Washtenaw County Jail. All visits are scheduled online but the actual visits take place at the Sheriff’s Office. Visitors must register online before they can schedule a visit. Inmates are allowed one 30-minute visit each week. Visits may be scheduled up to 1 week but not less than 16 hours in advance. No more than 3 people may visit at a time, including children.

All visitors must present a valid photo ID upon arriving at the visitation area in the Sheriff’s Office. All visitors are subject to search. Proper attire is required at all times. Visitors below 17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Visitation hours are as follows:

    Bail and Bondsman
