The Macomb County Jail maintains an

Important Jail Policies and Procedures:

Inmates at the Macomb County Jail are allowed visits with family and friends twice a week, a maximum of 3 visitors for approximately 30 minutes. Certain trustees are allowed 3 visits per week. All visits are conducted via video, onsite and remote. Onsite visitation is conducted in the Jail Annex from Sunday through Thursday, 1pm to 5pm and 5:45pm to 9pm. Inmates are responsible for letting their visitors know of their schedule. Visitors must register at http://www.icsolutions.com and schedule their visit at least 24 hours in advance but no more than two weeks in advance.

All visitors are required to present a picture ID except for children under the age of 17 who must be accompanied by an authorized adult visitor.  All visitors must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled visit. They must also be wearing proper attire; clothes must cover all private/sensitive body areas.

All incoming personal mail for inmates will be opened, read, and checked for contraband before they are delivered. Personal mail envelopes, with the exception of those portions bearing a return address, will not be delivered to a prisoner. Prohibited items in the mail include Polaroids, magnets, nude or pornographic photos or materials, metallic objects, ribbons, stickers, medication, and oversized cards.

Bail and Bondsman
