Important Jail Policies and Procedures:

All visitations at the Kent County Correctional Facility are via video. ALl visits must be scheduled 24 hours prior to the intended visit. This may be done online using the Renovo Visitor Website. Visits can also be scheduled over the phone between 9am to 9pm by calling (616) 632-6383. A kiosk in the visiting lobby can also be used to schedule visits.

Visitors are required to check in 20 minutes before the scheduled visit. General population inmates are allowed 1 visit per week, a maximum of 2 visitors per session. Working trustees are allowed 3 visits per week, a maximum of 2 visitors per session. Visiting hours are as follows:

Mon-Fri: All inmates can visit from 8:00am to 11:00am; 1:00pm to 5:00pm; 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Sat-Sun: All inmates can visit from 8:00am to 11:00am; 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Additional visits can be purchased per week for $15.

At-home visits can take place 7 days a week from 8:00am to 11:00am; 1:00pm to 5:00pm; and 7:00pm to 10:00pm. A 25-minute visit costs $10 and a 10-minute visit costs $4.

A full return address and name of sender must be included. All incoming mail will be opened and inspected for contraband before it is delivered.
