Each inmate’s record shows his booking date, complete, gender, age, booking photo, booking number, arresting agency, housing unit, charges, court, and bail.

Important Jail Policies and Procedures:

Inmate visitation at the Davis County Jail is through a video visitation program provided by Securus Technologies. Visits are scheduled by appointment only which can be made online or by visiting the Jail Visiting Lobby on Tuesday to Friday from 18:30-20:30 and on Saturday to Sunday from 13:00-17:00 and 18:30-20:30.

Each inmate is allowed two at-home visits per day according to availability. These visits are subject to a fee. On-site visits are allowed twice a week and are at no cost to the visitor. Inmates will be responsible for informing their family and friends of the times they are available to visit.

Each visit is limited to 20 minutes with only 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 children at a time. Visitors aged 16 or older must present valid government identification prior to visiting. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. However, minors not related to an inmate will not be permitted to visit. Visitors must be dressed appropriately. Personal possessions will not be allowed in the visitation area.

Only US Postal Service issued plain white, pre-stamped post cards (3 1/2 x 5 1/2) will be accepted at the jail. Inmates may also receive photographs through the mail in an envelope. An inmate is only allowed 10 photos. These photos must not be larger than 4 inches by 6 inches or have glitter, glue, tape, or any substance on them.
