Service and Responsibilities:
The County Court Clerk’s primary responsibilities are to record, file, and maintain the District Court proceedings by keeping books such as trial dockets, case files, and journals useful for locating past court proceedings. The Clerk’s Office also maintains case files, collects court fees, fines, costs assessments, and forfeiture as well as distributes or expends collected monies. Besides, the Court Clerk issues legal warrants, including subpoenas, summons, orders, processes, and writs as allowed by statute, issuing marriage licenses and other county licenses. Furthermore, the Court Clerk’s office also stands as the minister’s Credentials registers, as a Custodian of the County Law Library, and as a county commissioner.

Services and Responsibilities:
The County Clerk serves as the official record-keeper of the county. The Clerk’s Office is responsible for maintaining records, deeds, mortgages, development plats, tax liens, oil and gas leases, plats, and other documents. Additionally, the County Clerk’s Office also holds responsibility for county payrolls, retirement, insurance, federal and state reports, and maintaining all financial records and ledgers. Besides, The Office also acts as a Secretary Board of County Commissioners, Excise and Equalization Boards, Tax Roll Correction Board.
