Sullivan County is located in the state of New Hampshire. Named after John Sullivan, the county was formed in 1827 and its county seat is Newport. Sullivan County Register Information

The Register of Deeds is a constitutional officer and is elected to a two-year term by the citizens of the County in which the Register serves. The Register of Deeds serves as custodian and manager of a large number of public records on a day to day basis.

The recording process is mandated and governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire. The Register of Deeds is charged with the integrity, completeness, and safekeeping of these public records. It is the mission of the Sullivan County Register of Deeds to preserve the integrity of the records and to make them available and easily accessible to the public, now and for all future generations.
