    Bail and Bondsman

    If you are arrested for a crime committed on the territory of Lafayette County, you will be put in custody in the Lafayette County Jail. To get out of jail, you need to post bail as set in the court order. If you or a person close to you do not have the bail amount, you can get in touch with a bonding company and ask for a bail loan. The bondsman will post the amount at court on your behalf and ask for a service fee in amount between 10% and 20% of the full bail sum.
