A Part-Time Jailer/Dispatcher can earn a starting salary of $18.91/hour. Hours based on need. Must have some availability to fill in on weekends and holidays. Primary duties involve supervision of inmate activities, maintaining security, and dispatching.

Some of the required qualifications include:
HS diploma or GED, minimum of 18 yrs old, minimum of 3 years previous work experience with the public, good verbal/written communication skills, valid driver’s license, basic keyboarding skills. Desirable skills/experience include 2-way radio and/or telephone training/experience, previous professional or responsible experience in emergency situations, CPR, First Aid, EMT.
