Important Jail Policies and Procedures:
All inmates at the Eaton County Jail are encouraged to have their family and friends visit. Each inmate is allowed to have 3 visitors on their Visitor’s List and one 30-minute visit per week. All visitors must be at the jail at the same time. Visiting times are Monday through Friday from 9am to 10:30 am and 1pm to 3:30pm. Take note that the first Tuesday of each month, visiting times will not start until 10am due to church services.
Inmates are also allowed to receive postcards, no bigger than 5 x 7”, from friends and family, etc. All incoming mail will be checked for contraband. Postcards are to be a plain white postcard, no bigger than 5 x 7” and have metered postage.
