The Howard County Jail has a Weekly Arrest Report Online,

a list of inmates currently detained in the facility. To locate an inmate here, you can use the inmate’s first name, last name, or alias to search the database. Each inmate’s record shows his complete name, age, booking date, physical description, arrest date, cell #, and address.

Important Jail Policies and Procedures:

Inmates at the Howard County Jail are allowed allowed only (2) 25 minute visits per week. Internet visits are allowed with unlimited amount however each visit is limited to 10 – 25 minutes per visit. Due to the excessive number of inmates, visitation is not guaranteed. Visitors must register in the lobby of the Howard County Criminal Justice Center at the provided KIOSK or go to the Howard County Website to register.

Only one (1) visitor / child can visit at a time. With internet visits, 2 adults may participate at the same time as long as both adults are registered. All visitors, with the exception of visitation by internet, must sign in at the front desk during business hours and Central Control for all other hours at least 15 minutes before the scheduled visit. Cell phones and other recording devices will not be permitted inside the facility.

Inmates are allowed to receive mail sent through the US Post Office. Mail must be in manila or mailing envelopes that are no longer than 9 x 12, and any greeting cards sent can be no longer than 6 x 9. Inmates are allowed to receive a maximum number of 16 photos, no larger than 5 x 7. Polaroids are not allowed.

Inmates are also allowed to receive email from family and friends for a small fee. You can set up an account at GTL Network Mail to avail of this service.

Funds can be added into an inmate’s account by mailing a money order (not exceeding $50) to the jail, by using the kiosk in the lobby of the Howard County Criminal Justice Center, or by going online at Access Secure Deposits.
