Important Jail Policies and Procedures
Visitors should be on the inmate’s visitation list before being allowed to visit. The visitor list has to be approved by Detention Center staff. All visitors must have proper identification before entering the visitation lobby. Visitors wearing clothing that is deemed provocative won’t be allowed to visit. Children, under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult, parent or legal guardian; otherwise, they will not be permitted to visit. Inmates are allowed only one visit per week. Visitations are limited to 20 minutes. No purses, clothes, books, cell phones, knives, toys, food, drinks, etc. will be allowed in the visitation lobby. If the visitor does not follow the visitation rules, the visit will be terminated, or the Detention staff will not grant the visitors visitation.
