The Arizona State Prison Complex – Phoenix is located in Phoenix, Arizona, and can hold 1,042 inmates. Visitation Policies:

Inmates must provide a list of visitors, if they choose to have visitors. Changes to this list may be made every 90 days. People who want to visit or receive calls from inmates must complete the Application to Visit an Inmate form. There is a one-time fee of $25 for a background check of those wanting to visit an inmate. The Warden has authority to approve visitors.

Visitors must sign in with the Visitation Office when they arrive for a visit. A visitor must provide a valid government-issued form of identification. Visitors must adhere to the dress code, and all visitors are subject to search. An inmate may visit with up to 6 people during each visitation. Visitors may not visit more than one inmate during visitation. Certain recreational activities are allowed in the contact visitation area. Visits may be contact or non-contact. Visitation may be suspended at any time.

Alhambra/Aspen SPU Visitation

Inmates in Reception at Alhambra cannot receive visitors. Inmates assigned as resident workers or to treatment programs may receive visitors. For specific visitation information for this unit and Aspen SPU, please call 602-685-3100.

Visits must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance, and inmates are allowed one visit per week.
